Met Line delayed by police suspects on track

Police suspects momentarily jumped onto the track at Eastcote station

The Metropolitan Line is experiencing delays between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge stations after police suspects jumped onto the train track just before 5pm today (Monday).

According to Transport for London, power was shut off on the line until the trespassers left the track and jumped into a neighbouring property.

Police are now dealing with the suspects.

The line is open and running once more but with minor delays.

There are also minor delays on the District line after a woman was killed after falling under a train earlier today.
