GUN-wielding men held up a bank in Northwood before making off in a car with the money they stole.

The incident happened just before 4pm at NatWest in Green Lane on Tuesday 13.

It is believed a man wearing a balaclava entered the bank with a grey gun and started demanding money from the staff.

Another man wearing a balaclava also entered the bank but stood by the front door.

After being handed the cash they both ran out of the bank and made off in a silver Volkswagen Golf hatchback towards Northwood Hills.

The first suspect is described as white, 6ft, well built, about 30 years old, and was wearing a black balaclava, black gloves, and a light grey tracksuit with light blue stripes on the arms and legs, a zip at the front and a hood.

The second suspect is described as white, 5ft 9ins, about 20 years old, and was wearing a grey hooded top and a black balaclava.

No one is believed to have been injured during the incident and no arrests have been made.
