Two men have been charged after staff at an HSBC bank were threatened with weapons and cash was stolen.

Jason Byrne, 44 and Paul Wiltshire, 46, both of no fixed abode, have been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and firearms offences.

They were arrested on Wednesday (October 8) by officers from the Met’s Flying Squad after two men entered the HSBC bank in Shepherd’s Bush Green, threatened members of staff with weapons, demanded cash then made off with the cash.

They will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today (October 10) after being charged at a west London police station.
