Market trader Qayse Nori must do 100 hours unpaid work after being found with fake designer goods and toys.

Hillingdon's Trading Standards team made the discovery after searching his van near his home in Normandy Drive, Hayes, in May.

Mr Nori, an Afghan national, must also pay £500 costs after admitting nine counts of possessing items with a false trademark at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday last week.

Councillor Jonathan Bianco, cabinet Member for business services, said: "Hillingdon’s Trading Standards officers are working hard to protect residents from unsafe and fake goods, especially when the items can end up in the hands of children.”
