A PEDESTRIAN was flown to hospital after a car collided with him in Hillingdon last night (Wednesday).

The accident happened at 6.40pm on Hillingdon Road, Uxbridge, with paramedics being called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The man had suffered head injuries, and was treated and stabilised at the scene, before being flown by Air Ambulance to the Royal London Hospital.

Roads were closed off in the area for over an hour causing a severe back-up of delays across Hillingdon and Uxbridge.
