A 31-year-old man was stabbed in Chiswick in the early hours of this morning.
Two men aged 34 and 30, both from the borough, have been arrested following the attack in Whitehall Park Road at 1.40am.
The victim was stabbed in the shoulder, with the blade narrowly missing his heart, and taken to hospital after a woman found him lying in nearby St Mary's Grove.
A Police spokesman said: "The man's injuries were initially considered life threatening because of the amount of blood loss however it is now believed he will make a full recovery.
"The weapon has been recovered and both suspects are currently being interviewed."
