POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the arm by a stranger in Southall.

The attack took place on Saturday, July 20, at about 3.40am at the junction of Williams Road and Regina Road.

A 29-year-old man was walking to a petrol station when someone appeared from behind a tree, stabbed him twice in the arm, and disappeared. The victim went to hospital with puncture wounds.

The male attacker is described as black, 45 years old with short hair.
