A MAN who fell four storeys at St George's shopping centre is still in a critical condition.
The incident happened just after 2pm on October 25 and is not being treated as suspicious by police.
Shoppers saw the man, believed to be in his 30s, fall from the fourth floor of the shopping centre. He was treated by crews from the London Ambulance Service and was taken by air ambulance to Royal London Hospital, East London.
A 64-year-old NHS worker from South Ruislip, said she came out of the lift just after he had fallen.
She said: “I was really very distressed. One young girl went over, I think she was a doctor, and kept telling people to move back, which was the right thing to do. I just couldn’t stop crying afterwards.”
The shopping centre was closed shortly after 2pm and reopened at 8pm the same day.
