POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a house was destroyed in a fire in Wembley.

Police were driving along Talbot Road on March 15 at just after 4.30pm when they saw smoke and a man running and shouting.

Two people, a man and a woman, were injured in the blaze.

One of the victims was taken to hospital after jumping from the first floor window. Another was taken to a specialist burns unit. The house was badly damaged along with caravan equipment in the flames.

A spokeswoman for Brent Police said: "This was a deeply traumatic and horrific ordeal for the victims and we are treating this incident very seriously.

"We are interested in talking with two males who may have witness the incident seen running towards the fire."
