TWO PEOPLE were treated in hospital after a kitchen fire broke out in Brentford on Sunday afternoon.
A man was rescued by firefighters to safety wearing a breathing apparatus following the raging blaze which badly damaged the kitchen of the terraced house on Orchard Road on July 28.
The second person, a woman had left the building before the fire brigade team arrived. The Brigade was called at 2.41pm and the fire was under control by 4.15pm.
Both people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and taken to West Middlesex by the London Ambulance Service.
The London FireBrigade said two fire engines from Heston and Chiswick went to the house and ten firefighters and officers to tackled the blaze.
The London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 2.44pm to an address on Orchard Road to reports of a fire. We sent an ambulance crew and members of our hazardous area response team. Staff treated two patients for smoke inhalation and they were taken to West Middlesex Hospital."
London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
