FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a raging fire which broke out in his fourth floor flat on Highfield Road in Feltham on Sunday night.

The man was wearing a breathing apparatus and was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, on April 28.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It took 14 firefighters and officers from Feltham and Twickenham stations to put out the blaze which has damaged a small part of the flat.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "Two fire engines from Feltham fire station and one from Twickenham attended the incident and 14 firefighters and officers tackled the blaze in the flat which was damaged a small amount of the flat.

"The Brigade was called at 2226 and the fire was under control by 2325. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
