A motorist was hurt in the second collision within hours in the Stockley Park area.

A man had to be cut out of his car on the southbound Stockley Bypass at about 8.15am today (Wednesday, November 19), say London Fire Brigade.

London Ambulance Service said the man, in his 30s, was treated for back pain.

He was taken to Hillingdon Hospital by London Ambulance Service, along with a woman also in the car who was hospitalised as a precaution.

Their condition is not known. It is not thought that anyone in the other vehicle was hurt.

Firefighters from Hillingdon, Heathrow and Heston fire stations attended the scene.

Last night, a woman was seriously hurt in a crash in nearby West Drayton Road.
