A 38-YEAR-OLD plumber who died three days after being found with head injuries in Hounslow has been named as Vadim Jakubovskij.

Mr Jakubovski was discovered by police in Kingsley Road, near Hounslow East tube station, last Wednesday (March 13) at 12.20am.

He was taken to St Mary's Hospital, in Paddington, where, police confirmed today, he died on Saturday.

Police said a post-mortem on Sunday failed to establish a formal cause of death and they are awaiting the results of further tests.

Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating the circumstances of his death, which is being treated as unexplained.

Officers were searching an alleyway off Lampton Road, Hounslow, yesterday (Wednesday, March 20) in connection with his death.

An inquest into Mr Jakubovskij's death was opened and adjourned at West London Coroner's Court on Tuesday. His address has not been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
