Eyewitnesses say the man was the sole occupant of the car that was in collision with two other vehicles, one believed to belong to the courier company TNT.
London Fire Brigade said it was called at 2.51pm and sent appliances from Hillingdon, Ruislip and Heston. A total of 14 firefighters were on scene at one point.
Police controlled traffic in St John's Road which is one of the main routes into Uxbridge from Slough.
The man's condition is not known.
Man cut from vehicle in Uxbridge crash
FIREFIGHTERS had to cut the driver of a car from his vehicle after a crash at the junction of St John's Road and Riverside Way, Uxbridge, this afternoon.
