Police are searching for three men who attacked a train passenger and stole £19,000 of cash from him.

A 31-year-old man, of East Ham, had changed the money into euros at a bureau de change in Victoria Station at around 12.10pm on July 25.

He got on a Victoria line tube to north London and was attacked by the men who took his bag containing the cash when he got to Kings Cross.

Detective Constable Steve Ajayi, said: “The victim and another man chased the three men from Kings Cross station into a nearby hotel.

“The three attackers threatened a member of the public before fleeing with the money.

“I have released images of four men I want to talk to, as I believe they have important information regarding this incident.

“If anyone recognises them, please contact British Transport Police.”
