A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman celebrating her birthday in Kilburn.

The 22-year-old was arrested by officers from the British Transport Police at St Pancras International train station on Tuesday August 27 on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Sabrina Moss died from a gunshot wound outside Woody Grill at 4am on Saturday August 24 and a friend is in hospital after being injured in the attack.

The suspect was arrested shortly before midnight and is currently in custody at a central London police station.

On Saturday, 24 August police were called at 4.15am to reports of shots fired in the street in Kilburn High Road.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene to find two women suffering from gunshot injuries.

Sabrina Moss, 24, from Neasden, was pronounced dead later on Saturday morning.

A second 24-year-old woman remains in hospital and her condition is described as stable and non life-threatening.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident previously and were taken into custody but subsequently released without further action.

Sabrina, a mother of one, had been out that night celebrating her 24th birthday with friends.
