A young man is stable in hospital today after being stabbed in the leg last night.

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and taken into custody at a west London police station.

Police were called by the ambulance service at around 8.15pm to reports of a male stabbed in Harrow Road, near the junction with Scrubs Lane near Willesden Junction.

The man, believed to be aged in his 20s, suffering a suspected stab wound to the back of his leg.

He was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. His injury is not thought to be life threatening.

Enquiries by Hammersmith and Fulham borough officers into the circumstances of the incident have begun.
