A man has been charged with the murder of a 25-year-old woman thought to be from Northolt.

Michael Wenham, 35, of Collingwood Road, Uxbridge, was charged last night (February 18) by Thames Valley Police in connection with the death of the woman in Slough.

Officers were called to a property at about midday in Lowestoft Drive, Haymill, yesterday, where the victim was found dead.

The body has not yet been formally identified but it is believed to be that of Karolina Nowikiewicz from Northolt. Her next of kin has been informed.

A Home Office post mortem was carried out this afternoon and established that the cause of death was an incised injury to the neck.

Wenham was remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (February 19).
