A man was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Hounslow on Saturday - the third serious stabbing in the borough in three weeks.

Paramedics were called to the corner of Lampton Road and Bulstrode Road, by the Travelodge Hotel, just before 1pm on Saturday (May 10).

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said a man reported to be in his 20s was taken to hospital by air. She added that was unable to comment on the nature or extent of his injuries.

Police said a 15-year-old man was arrested that day and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The incident follows the fatal stabbing of Jamil Palmer in Crane Park, Feltham, last Tuesday (May 6) and the stabbing of a 19-year-old man in Hounslow on April 21 . All three stabbings have taken place during broad daylight.
