A TEENAGER was stabbed in broad daylight in Wealdstone yesterday, suffering wounds to his back, shoulder and arm.

Police and paramedics confirmed that they were called to High Street at 3.35pm where the 19-year-old victim was treated for multiple wounds before being taken to a west London hospital.

He was later discharged and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Marc Silvers, of Kenton Road, Harrow, commutes to and from London for work and was in Wealdstone just after the incident yesterday.

He said: "There were so many police and ambulance crews around, it looked pretty serious.

"I don't know what had happened in the lead up to it but it is pretty worrying to think that that kind of thing happens around here.

"Wealdstone has always had a bit of a reputation but when things like this happen during the day when there are loads of people around it feels like things might be on the slide, unfortunately."
