RESIDENTS are invited to a face to face meeting with councillors to discuss how the borough can be improved.

A Question Time session will take place on June 11 at Harrow Arts Centre in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, from 7pm.

People can turn up on the night and put their concerns to

Councillor David Ashton (Conservative), leader of the council, and other council members. Subjects which will be discussed include the environment, schools and waste collection.

Councillor Ashton said: "We really want to hear from you on any matters of concern and interest. You play an important role in the life of the borough so come along with your colleagues and friends and learn more about how we propose to deal with the increasing costs of providing crucial services and much more.

"We want to be one of the best local authorities in London by 2012 and to invest in key issues that local people have said are their priorities, such as cleaner and safer streets.

"But we need to do this together, so come along and tell us what the key priorities are for you and help us build a better borough for all of us."

You can submit your question on the night or in advance by emailing questiontime@harrow.gov.uk
