YOUR reader who complained about their recycling being all mixed into one lorry (Chronicle, March 12) is lucky as under the new system I have not had some of my recycling collected at all.
Firstly, we received two sets of bags etc giving us two separate zones, although this was corrected quite quickly, then I received a visit from a young lady and after answering her questionaire I passed my recycling exam as I had managed to put all the items into their proper bags/box and put them out in the right place and on the correct date.
The green bag (gardening) and the white bag (plastic) were collected on their correct dates but the green box (various) and blue bag (paper) have not been collected for two weeks.
Spring is upon us and the daffodils are flowering but all you can see in front gardens are recycling boxes and bags.
