A long list of tasks marks Brownies' 100th birthday

The 100th birthday of the Brownies was celebrated with a cup of tea with Mayor of Hillingdon, Allan Kauffman.

The 4th Denham Brownies visited the Mayor's Parlour at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge on March 14 for afternoon tea.

The trip was one of a long list of tasks the group has set itself to complete throughout the year to mark the centenary.

Taking tea in an unusual place was one of their challenges which they can now tick off.

They also renewed their Brownie promise in front of the mayor, and invited him to take part in their Brownie circle.
