Hot and humid weather will be making a return to London, according to the Met Office.

Following a cloudy yet warm weekend , temperatures are set to increase early next week peaking at a possible 30 C on Tuesday.

Becoming hot inland, it will feel humid with heavy, thundery showers likely on Tuesday night and Wednesday with breezy winds.

Three day weather forecast

Saturday:

Expect cloudy conditions with the odd chance of rain during the day, however by the evening it will be mostly dry with winds easing.

After some brighter spells in the evening, cloud will tend to thicken through the night and it will feel rather humid with a minimum temperature of 15 °C.

Sunday:

There will be variable cloud with some bright or sunny spells and a maximum temperature of 25 °C.

Whilst most places will remain dry, a few light showers are possible in places.

Outlook for Monday and Tuesday:

Dry conditions with long sunny periods are expected on Monday and Tuesday.

Feeling humid, temperatures could peak to 30 degrees on Tuesday, however heavy, thundery showers are likely by the evening.
