AS OWNER of the property in Barmor Close, I read your story about the owners of the Sports Ground’s intentions for a temporary caravan park for the Olympic Games.
I fully support any resistance to this intention which is simple profiteering, will merely compound the traffic congestion in an area already bursting at the seams - not to mention the disturbance and noise caused to a quiet residential amenity .
I cannot think that even for this temporary use the owners will not require a local authority licence - so that at some point we should widen the lobbying to include the local authority.
