There is something fascinating about litter and little Eco Warriors have been studying it hard.

After gathering litter from their school grounds for analysis for a survey they were carrying out, the tiny tidiers from Harefield Infants’ School in Park Lane then picked up two bagfuls of rubbish during a sweep of the village, in particular the village green.

They also did some dropping of their own – dropping off litter awareness posters they had designed themselves to local shops to spread the ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ message.

Harefield is now the only place to drop waste
