YOUR ludicrously biased and ignorant correspondent (unnamed, and no wonder) is totally erroneous about town centre development.
I was on the planning committee for eight years with Councillor Marilyn Ashton, and stating she sticks up for residents is interesting, to say the least.
Tell that to the countless occupants of the town centre, many of them her erstwhile supporters.
Only Councillor Narinder Mudhar garners credit for his views on this subject.
By the way, how is Gareth Thomas disgraced? His actions on this and many other issues are exemplary.
A couple of years ago, we heard grandiose talk of a master plan for the town centre from the Tories.
I represented Greenhill ward, and am still on the town centre forum.
I have also been co-opted on to the Greenhill Safer Neighbourhood Panel.
What do we have? A drastically reduced, piecemeal, almost nonsensical set of minor adjustments, when there are successful developments, as at Shepherd's Bush.
So don't give us arguments like the lack of resources. It's the will and the contacts that bring plans to fruition.
Incidentally, we discussed the disabled facilities at Harrow on the Hill station at the Sustainable Development and Enterprise Management Committee of the Harrow Strategic Partnership.
Finance is of course the key, and extra pressure on Boris Johnson to give this project priority to influence TfL.
All credit to Navin Shah (and yourselves) for this.
Now we have a new director of planning, maybe we'll see some action.
My ideas and offers of help have fallen on stony ground. I'm still here and available.
