AFTER having an horrific experience last year in one of the wards of Hillingdon Hospital, my heart sank when I was told I needed treatment there again.

Little did I know that, even in this hospital, there are doctors, sisters, nurses who have been sent from heaven.

I was referred to the haematology department; this department has the best team in the world.

There are no words to describe the expertise, devotion, compassion and patience. They are my angels.

I also want to say a big thank you to Cumberlege and Elizabeth ward, the lovely receptionist and the rest of the team.

All of them should have the right recognition for what they do; funds should be spent on their work, not on stupid walls.
