BUS drivers are on strike again today (Friday) leaving limited routes running for passengers.

The strike is being led by drivers union Unite and began at 3am and is expected to last 24 hours.

Drivers from First and Metroline buses are taking part in the strike although not Transdev Sovereign despite their claims earlier in the week.

This follows previous strike action on August 29 and September 12-13.

Partial service are running in Uxbridge on the routes 331 and A10 but several are not running at all.

The routes which are not available are the U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U10, 427, and N207.

Drivers are demanding equal pay with drivers from other companies across London.

Further bus strikes have been called for on Wednesday 22 October.
