Local celebrity, Konnie Huq, has donated her little one’s clothes to the British Heart Foundation's eBay store to help raise vital funds for life-saving research.

Money raised will help combat heart conditions which can be deadly, they run in families and can affect those you’d least expect, including the young and the fit.

The babygros, jumpers and baby sleeping bag that Konnie has donated are being sold in a ten day auction. The Ealing resident is one of several celebrities who have donated to the auction which began yesterday May (22) at 9pm. It will finish on Sunday June 1 at 9pm.

Hundreds of thousands of people in the UK are living with an inherited heart condition and many will not even know they have them.

Sue Beale, the charity's Area Manager, says: “We’re really grateful to Konnie Huq for donating baby clothing and a sleeping bag to the BHF eBay auction and joining the fight for every heartbeat.

“Every penny of profit raised from these donations will support pioneering BHF research to fight heart disease. This could mean making major breakthroughs in the diagnosis and treatment of inherited heart conditions.
