AS A long established Ealing resident, I am delighted to finally hear that Karim Sacoor is standing as a Conservative council candidate in Ealing Common.
Whoever has persuaded him to stand should be congratulated. For years, Mr Sacoor has quietly served the wider community, assisting families who have special needs children and young people in general and it is about time that the people of Ealing have the opportunity to recognise him.
Ealing Council and indeed people of Ealing will benefit from his energy, attitude and dedication to serving the wider community without expecting much in return. I hope the people of Ealing Common will support him and he gets elected. More people like him on Ealing Council, I say.
