Classes made their way around a carousel of activities on a sports taster day.

KS2 pupils at Mount Carmel Primary School, Little Ealing Lane, had the opportunity to try out different sports the school is considering bringing in next year.

Years two to five enjoyed lessons from external judo instructor David Logan, as well as doing Zumba, rounders, volleyball, basketball, cricket training, boxercise and a putting competition on June 23.

Brentford Football Community Trust went in and coached the youngsters, while the year six students became game leaders and helped with the organisation of the day.

P.E. Co-ordinator Tania Hunt said: “We did a survey afterwards and everyone loved the judo.

“We are going to input some of those clubs into our curriculum next year.”
