A NEWLY married director has scooped a 'once in a life time' chance to shoot a film for the Olympics.

James Webber, 31, of Oak Lane, Isleworth, has written the plot about a swimming prodigy whose life falls apart as his swimming goes from strength to strength. It's to be released alongside the sporting celebrations in July.

He said: "I am really excited about this project and it is a once in a life time opportunity. We already have two or three actors lined up and we are currently in talks with some big name actors to play the role of the father. We are hoping to film locally and have set up some scenes on an Isleworth estate."

The Bournemouth University graduate began his career making music and corporate films before deciding to set up his own company, Fingercuff, with friend, Jamie Cooper.

Shooting for the film will begin in March and Mr Webber is looking for financial backers.

He said: "It is so hard to get grants for small films these days so we are asking for people to donate small sums to the film, in return they will get rewards, for example their name on the credits, or tickets to the premiere."

Mr Webber studied film at Bournemouth University and moved to Isleworth from Feltham, three years ago where he lives with his wife of one year.

He said: "She works in costume and designs clothes and helps me with my films, I couldn't be married to anyone who didn't understand my life.

"Making films is everything to me. It was my hobby and I am lucky it has become my job. Film making is my life."
