I WISH to inform the public about the way the Conservative group on Hounslow Council is depriving those of the services of the Hounslow Law Centre.
The Tories have decided to stop funding this worthwhile organisation, which has been serving the borough's residents for the last 30 years.
The law centre had to close its doors to the public due to the withdrawal of these vital funds.
The Hounslow Law Centre was the only organisation in the borough which provided free advice, guidance, support and legal representation to those most in need.
I am disgusted at the behaviour of the Conservative group, which is not friendly to those organisations which provide free services to the public to enable them to better their circumstances.
Where are we residents supposed to go when we need help now?
I hope the people will take note of the damage the Conservatives have done to the free services in their first term of office.
I am horrified the Conservative group has chosen to plant 1,000 extra trees in the streets, when I am sure the public would rather choose free legal support when they most need it.
