An Ickenham salon owned by a young Ruislip entrepreneur welcomed its first customers through the door on Saturday.
Harley Street, in Swakeleys Road, Ickenham, is owned by Harley Mitchell of Victoria Road, Ruislip Manor.
Harley and her business partner, Dawn Barry, from Gerrards Cross, invited people to browse their range of treatments and enjoy a free glass of bubbly.
“We’re so pleased with how the launch day went on Saturday, so many people came down to see the salon and pick up price lists and we got to meet lots of the local residents," said Harley.
"I was really nervous that nobody would come in but people have been so supportive, either by popping in to say hello or sending us messages wishing us luck – we want to thank everyone for all their support, it really means a lot”
