Husband charged with murder after woman found dead

The husband of a woman found dead in her home in Northolt has been charged with her murder.

Naveed Ahmed, 41, was charged yesterday with the murder of Tahir Ahmed, both of Merton Avenue.

Her body was found by police at about 9pm on Tuesday (May 27).

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the killing.

It is believed the couple had two children, a boy and a girl.

Naveed Ahmed has been remanded in custody to appear at Ealing Magistrates' Court today.
