As soon as the Gazette announced the news that a Primark store might be taking over 15 units in the Pavilions shopping centre, Facebook and Twitter went crazy with people sharing the story and discussing the rumour.

At the moment the rumours are unconfirmed, but if they do turn out to be true, they will certainly be met with positivity from Uxbridge shoppers.

We asked our followers on our Uxbridge Gazette and Getwestlondon social media accounts - Would you welcome a Primark in Uxbridge? And the answer was a resounding 'YES'.

Hundreds of you 'liked' and commented on the article on Uxbridge Gazette and Getwestlondon's Facebook pages.
