THE HS2 judicial review decision will be handed down at 10.30am on Friday, March 15.

Sources close to the review have told us that is the date when Mr Justice Ouseley will rule on the challenges by four groups.

The news of the date has been welcomed by campaigners.

Lottie Jones, of Ruislip Against HS2 said: "We have been in limbo since before Christmas so it is great to finally have a date.

"Whatever happens I'm sure there will be an appeal and we were reassured by (Bucks County Council Leader) Martin Tett's comments that they will take this fight to Europe if they have to."

Steve Costello, of Heathrow Hub Ltd which brought one of the challenges, told the Gazette it was now "wait and see time".
