Specsavers are asking customers in Hounslow to think of those less fortunate this Christmas and donate toys for a Hounslow Toy Library collection.

The opticians will be collecting toys in-store at 152 High Street and will also accept books and DVDs for children of all ages. These will then be given to the toy library so that children can borrow them to take home.

Ranna Rai of Specsavers Hounslow says: "The toy appeal is a lovely idea and a great way to share the festive spirit with families in the local are. We’d like to thank our customers for anything they are able to donate."

The Hounslow Toy Library is a local organisation that collects toys which can be loaned to disabled children to help them learn skills through play.  It also provides an environment where children and families can meet to socialise and exchange ideas and tips.
