LAST week I was walking in Livingstone Road, Hounslow, opposite Inwood Park, when a man started swearing at me about the way I walk because of my disability.

Then he started on about my weight, about how big I was, and worse. It was very upsetting, and he even threatened to 'get me'.

I was worried this man might harm someone, and the police said they would look at Inwood Park more.

Since then I know someone who was aggressively shouted at near Hounslow bus garage, close to the Nando's restaurant, and I heard a man on a bus telling a young couple to 'shut up' for no reason.

We need more police on our streets and buses, night and day. Why should people be spoken to like this?

Hounslow is not safe any more, any time of the day. Just to add, I spoke to victim support about it and all they could say is they lived in Chiswick and the best thing is for people to move out of Hounslow.

I was very upset by that remark. People just can't up and leave like that.
