Hounslow Heath bus garage has been shortlisted in the UK Bus Awards.
The garage, in Tamian Way, Hounslow, is in the running to be named London bus garage of the year at the national award ceremony later this month.
The garage, run by London United, was nominated in the category for its 'team spirit, strong customer service and community presence'.
Engineering manager Leigh Vardanega has also been nominated as engineer of the year for his work to drive up standards at Hounslow bus garage, in Kingsley Road, Hounslow, which is also run by London United.
They will learn their fate at the awards ceremony at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane on November 18.
London United's managing director Richard Hall said: "I am really proud of our people. Everybody in the bus industry aspires to being shortlisted in the UK Bus Awards and I am delighted that we have been recognised in two separate categories."
