A drug dealer has been jailed for four-and-a-half years after a large haul of heroin was discovered at his home in Hounslow.

Police raided Khizir Ahsan's home in Claypole Drive, Hounslow, on October 16. In his bedroom they found a black carrier bag containing large wraps of heroin, along with digital scales and cling film.

The 32-year-old appeared at Kingston Crown Court last Friday (October 31), when he admitted possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He was sentenced the same day to 54 months in prison.

Detective Sergeant Simon Dowling, of Hounslow Police, said: "If individuals want to sell drugs in Hounslow, they need to think twice. They will get caught and will receive substantial prison sentences."
