A THIEF who broke into The Holiday Inn Hotel in Sipson to steal a television has been sent to prison.
Nathan Littlefield, 32, of Hawthorne Crescent, West Drayton, is accused of breaking into the Holiday Inn Hotel in Sipson on January 28.
He was accused of gaining access to a private room, which guests were staying in, and stealing the television.
Having previously pleaded not guilty, he changed his plea to guilty last Thursday (March 11) at Uxbridge Magistrates Court.
He was sent to prison for six weeks, with magistrates taking a dim view of the offence, because Littlefield has a previous criminal record.
The burglary was viewed as being extra serious because he threatened staff with a syringe during his escape.
The magistrates said they took his guilty plea into account when imposing the six week sentence.
