I agree with Mrs Ranshaw's letter on hospital parking charges (Chronicle, July 31).
As an outpatient I have waited, many a time, over one hour past my appointment to see the doctor and if he wants you to get a prescription filled you can wait another half an hour.
All this adds to the time spent in the car park. I think it's a ployby the hospital to make money out of the sick for the up-keep of the hospital.
