HOODED teenagers carrying baseball bats and garden forks attacked a family in a car in a vicious attack after an argument at a school football match got nasty.

A 44-year-old man visited Northolt High School last night (27) to watch a game with his family. An argument broke out between the two teams around 7pm when they decided to leave.

The family scrambled into their car and drove off as a group of teenage boys armed with baseball bats and garden forks started attacking the vehicle in the car park. Two small dents were left on the driver's door after the terrifying incident.

A 19-year-old boy was also chased by the thugs to his car in Doncaster Drive. He hid and watched in horror as they smashed all the windows of his black Seat.

When he returned to his car a while later, he was pounced on by a group of about 30 teenage boys and some girls, armed with sticks, iron bars and a knife.

He suffered a blow to his shoulder by a boy wielding a dumbbell handle. The victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and has since been released.

Officers from the safer neighbourhood teams have been working closely with the school to find the culprits of this violent night of crime. There have been no arrests.

More as we get it.
