A MAN from Hillingdon has been charged with the murder of Sabrina Moss over the bank holiday weekend.

Ms Moss, from Neasden, was out with friends celebrating her 24th birthday when she was shot on Kilburn High Road in the early hours of Saturday, August 24.

She later died in hospital.

Ms Moss' friend, Sabrina Gachette, was also shot but her injuries are not life threatening.

Martell Ricco Warren, 22, was today (Thursday, August 29) charged with murder and attempted murder, the attempted murders of two people who were arrested after the incident, and two counts of possession of a firearm.

Warren, of Station Road, Hillingdon, is in custody, and will appear at Highbury Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday, August 30).

The family of Sabrina Gachette urged people to come forward and released this statement: "Sabrina is a loving, courageous, wise and caring individual. She is not only a daughter and sister but an aunty, she was looking forward to the future but this has now been destroyed. No words can describe how we feel as a family. Sabrina is currently traumatised. We hope she doesn't only get through this but also the death of her beloved friend, Sabrina Moss. We would ask anyone who saw what happened to Sabrina, and her friend, to help the police and tell them what they know."
