Hillingdon FC and Sandgate take the trophies

The lads of the Sandgate U10 team (in red) and Hillingdon FC U12 team hold their trophies after winning in their age groups at the 14th annual Eborn Pratt football tournament, held at Rockingham Recreation Ground in Uxbridge on Saturday.

The Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Allan Kauffman was on hand - wearing full mayoral regalia, despite the downpour - to present the trophies, assisted by the president of the Rotary Club of Uxbridge, Richard Hansom.

The competition is organised by the Rotary Club and Waterloo Road Church, close to the recreation ground. Eleven club and school teams took part, well supported by parents and families.
