THE VICTIMS of a flat fire in Heston have been formally named as Samshad Molohoo, 49, and Ali Choudhary, 27.

An inquest into their deaths was opened and adjourned last Friday, July 19, at West London Coroner's Court.

Ms Molohoo died after leaping from the second floor flat in Central Parade, off New Heston Road, to escape the blaze in the early hours of Wednesday, July 10. Mr Choudhary's body was later found inside.

A post mortem gave the causes of death as head and chest trauma for Ms Molohoo and smoke inhalation for Mr Choudhary.

Two other men were taken to hospital with serious injuries after leaping from the flat, above a butcher's shop.

The fire remains under investigation by the Met Police's Homicide and Serious Crime Command unit.
