FIREFIGHTERS brought some cheer to sick children at West Middlesex Hospital with a Christmas Day visit.
Crews from Heston fire station dropped in to the children’s ward and A&E department of the hospital, in Twickenham Road, Isleworth.
They also visited Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in nearby Hampton, accompanied by Santa, to hand out gifts donated by local businesses.
About 14 firefighters in three fire engines helped deliver the presents, which were donated by stores including Wilkinson’s, the Early Learning Centre and ASDA, all in Hounslow, and Kingston’s Bentall Centre.
