NHS Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which is responsible for planning and designing many health services in the borough, are inviting people to attend a workshop and have their say on what they want to see provided in 2015/16.

The workshop is held at the Middlesex Suite of the Civic Centre in High Street, Uxbridge on Tuesday, September 9 from 10am -12pm.

Dr Ian Goodman, a local GP and chair of Hillingdon CCG, said: “Hillingdon CCG is planning the health services to be provided next year, so it’s important that the people who use these services have a say in what is required.

“We want to have an open discussion with residents about their priorities for next year, and how the local NHS can best use its resources to provide and improve care.

“Providing more health services in a community setting, making it easier to see a clinician when you need to, and changing the way mental health services are provided are among the changes we want to make next year.

“When our priorities have been agreed, we are committed to involving the public in the introduction of new services, and will keep them informed of progress throughout the year ahead.”
